Philadelphia’s All-Hazard Mitigation Plan describes which hazards, like flooding and winter storms, affect Philadelphia. The plan also looks at what City projects can help reduce damage from disasters before they happen. In this workshop, Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will review the City’s updated 2022 plan for mitigating or reducing risk to future natural and human-caused hazards. There will be an opportunity for questions, answers, and feedback from the audience. This meeting is open to all planning partners and the public.
Following this workshop, the plan will be published on OEM's website for a 30-day public review and comment period. Printed copied will also be available at several Free Library of Philadelphia locations. All questions, comments, and feedback can be directed to oem@phila.gov. All feedback will be documented in the plan prior to final submission to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for final review and approval.
This meeting will be hosted virtually via Zoom. Once registered, you will receive the information to login to the Zoom meeting on 1/31/2022.
